The Meaning Of Life

Hey everyone, it's been a long time since i have last posted but this is one of the posts that i had to share with you.    Do you ever just sit back and think that if life had been different? If you had been someone else and would have led a more prosperous and tension-free life? I have been there too and while thinking about that, i questioned myself, what is the benifit?    We all take birth, we all die and nobody gains anything out of it. If according to the people, "God" created us then can please anyone explain it to me, Why?       If he created us then he must have a purpose and i don't seem to be completing any task that he has given us. Why did he create us? What does he get out of it?     In Hindu religion it is stated that after 80 crore births as animals, plants or insects, you finally take the form of a human but for what? To study my whole life and then give up trying?     To always be in stress and worry about my future? I didn&

The Martian : Fact or Fiction

The Martian is a 2015 sci-fi film that depicts Mark Watney, a biologist and an engineer getting stuck on mars after his crew thought he was dead but turns out he was alive. There are still some things that are not getting into people's brain like how did he got this much water, and why did the explosion happened etc. So today I am going to clear that out for you.

     How did he create water?

The question is very simple but has a very complex answer. The MDV (Mars Descent Vehicle) had tonnes of hydrazine. Its molecular formula is h^5. He transferred the hydrazine over an Iridium catalyst that resulted into formation of hydrogen and nitrogen. The nitrogen was to be absorbed by plants and the hydrogen would combine with oxygen to form water. And that is how he created water.

     Why did the explosion happen?

This one is a bit complex. Hydrogen got attached with oxygen but not completely, as hydrogen was roaming in the hab in huge amounts, Mark Watney decided to burn the excess hydrogen. He put on his helmet and started burning but what he didn't realised was that the oxygen from his helmet was being leaked and oxygen was in gaseous state therefore, started burning taking hydrogen with it and the big explosion happened.

      Is this fact or fiction?

This question has been debated over and over but the answers lead to facts. This is possible like growing potatoes in your own shit, creating water with explosions and the author of this book Andy Weir has no doubt of the authenticity of this thing.
