This is the image of a planet getting destroyed but if you look more deeply, it is the end of the Universe!
Hello and welcome to my blog for the lovers of space, time, and physics and a little bit of chemistry. Today's post is about the theory that states what will be the end of the Universe!
Universe is a vast expense of galaxies, planets, and stars, and full of wonderful things but what if I were to tell you that this would all be gone in less than 1 quintillion years! A theory suggests that the fate of the Universe depends on several things. Basically there are 4 things upon how the universe will end.
The big Crunch
This name feels terrible. In this theory it is said that if the number of dark energy increases tremendously and its gravity would become stronger then the objects in the universe will start colliding with each other and there would be intense gravity that the collided objects will have the size of no more than a particle.
The big Rip
This name is even more dangerous. Anyways, in this theory it says that the dark energy would keep on expanding the space and it would be infinite distance and this would rip apart the universe as the space between 2 objects would keep on increasing and hence, The Big Rip.
The big freeze
This name sounds peaceful but it isn't. This theory says that in the big rip the space between things will go on expanding and therefore, there will be very less heat in the universe causing the universe to be a cold- barren wasteland.
The end of all things
This is the ultimate theory of the fate of the universe. In this theory, after several years our solar system will die, after that, the milky way and then andromeda. This distruction will keep on going until the last star would die and then there will be black holes only. They would also undergo, "hawking radiation" and they also will eventually die. Imagine the universe as a black piece of paper, now put all objects in it and then remove all of them what would remain would be the universe. Now throw the whole piece of paper what do you get, nothing! but that's not possible because there is always something if other is missing but what if there would be no universe. Imagine that and I am sure you will get goosebumps!
